Harper registration begins in the Harp Building at 8:30 am. Workshop begins at 10 am. Prior to the workshop there will be a Harpers’ Circle where any harper, competing or not, may share a tune. No entry fee is required for the workshop.

Harp Competitions begin at 1:00 pm; then at 4:30 pm there will be a Scottish musicians Jam Session.

1st  Place Winners in each level - Novice, Apprentice, Journeyman and Master - will receive a plaque

   

Medals will be awarded for places 2-4 in all Divisions. The Harper of the Day will receive the St Andrews Trophy.

     
   

This Competition is sanctioned by the Scottish Harp Society of America.

Competitors enclose entry fee of $15 made payable to the “Ligonier Highland Games” (Entry Form). Please enclose an S.A.S.E.

   
     
   

If not an SHSA member also include a membership fee of $18 adult or $9 youth (under age 17) with check made payable to SHSA. This gives you a one-year membership to the the Scottish Harp Society of America that includes a subscription to the Kilt  & Harp.

   
   
     
   

All Advance Entrants will receive an Admission Pass.  Advance Entries close August 12, 2005.  Field entries will be accepted.
